Unassisted Birth Stories: From Tragedy to Ecstasy with Marta!

Recently I interviewed Marta, (originally from Slovakia, living in Belgium), about her birth experiences…Marta has given birth three times in the last 17 years, including an ecstatic unassisted natural birth at home a few months ago. Check out her amazing story!

  1. Wow. This was amazing, really appreciate both of you for sharing this! Had tears running down my cheeks – amazing to hear her “happy ending” and the healing power of trusting her own body and intuition + leading the way!

  2. So happy to hear this story! I’ve been struggling a lot emotionally because I had a traumatic birth with my first child and as I have been drawing near to my due date I have been wondering how the past birth will/might affect the one I am approaching… This story brought so much HOPE and JOY to my heart and CONFIDENCE! Now I know that anything is possible 😀

  3. Angela, thank you for being such a kind hearted , caring person. I have learned so very much from you just from you putting yourself out there for us. My question is what would you recommend I give to my 18 month old daughter so that she gets all of her nutrients to develop properly? I cannot breast-feed because I take medications for my Schizophrenia and Bipolar Depression.–Andrea

  4. Thank you Marta for sharing your stories and Angela for spreading so much information about unassisted birth. I hope to have my first baby within the next couple years and I am now confident I want an unassisted birth. I look forward to it like nothing else 🙂

  5. So brave and strong! Grateful that you ladies are so willing to share! Without this i probably wouldnt have heard of this and has such an amazing birth as well! Praise the Lord! God bless!
